Clinic and salon video content in Dubai: what you can show, what you should not, and what books consultations

Before-and-after rules, consent, the treatment-room reel, and why the doctor on camera outperforms the interior tour. A practical content guide for Dubai clinics, med-spas and salons.

Beauty and aesthetics content in Dubai has a specific problem: the formats that get the most attention are the ones with the most rules. Here is how we film for clinics, med-spas and salons so that the content books consultations and survives a compliance review.

Start with consent, not with the camera

Every patient or client who appears on camera signs a release that says where the footage can be used (organic social, paid ads, website, the clinic's screens) and for how long. We bring the form; the clinic keeps it. For treatments where the face is visible, we film a second version that works without the face, because consent gets withdrawn and a good reel should not depend on one person's mood a year later.

Staff can be on camera without a release, but we still ask. A nurse who agreed on a Tuesday and regrets it on Friday is a problem nobody needs.

Before-and-after: handle with care

Before-and-after images are the most persuasive format in this category and the most regulated. The practical rules we work to in Dubai: same lighting, same angle, same distance for both frames, no filters, no retouching, and a realistic caption about timing and variation between people. Anything else invites a complaint and, worse, a patient who expected the photo rather than the treatment.

For paid ads, the platforms apply their own limits on before-and-after material, so we film an alternative for the ad version: the result on its own, the practitioner explaining the treatment, or the patient talking without any comparison frame.

The formats that book consultations

  • **The practitioner explains one thing.** Ninety seconds, one treatment, who it is for, who it is not for, what recovery is like. The doctor or therapist on camera is the single strongest trust signal in this category. A clinic tour is the weakest.
  • **The treatment-room reel.** A calm, honest look at what a session involves, filmed with the patient's consent and without drama. It removes the fear that stops people booking.
  • **The consultation walkthrough.** What happens in the first fifteen minutes, filmed from the patient's point of view. It answers "what will they ask me" and "will I be pushed to buy".
  • **The real question.** A question from the clinic's actual DMs, answered on camera in under a minute. Post one a week and the DM volume changes.
  • **The product on the shelf.** For salons and skincare retail, the product in use rather than on the shelf.

What we leave out

Music-driven montages of the interior, drone shots of the building, and anything that shows a result without saying how long it took. They look expensive and book nothing.

What it costs

A clinic content day is quoted before the shoot, based on the number of treatments and practitioners we film. Launch films for a new clinic or a new treatment start from AED 8,000. Monthly partnerships, where we film on a fixed cadence and run the account, start from AED 12,000 per month. Media spend for consultation campaigns is paid to the platform and quoted separately.

In this category, trust is the product. Content either builds it or spends it.

If you run a clinic, med-spa or salon in Dubai, send us your Instagram and the three treatments you want more bookings for. The Clinic Content Plan comes back within one business day with what we would film first, how we would handle consent, and a fixed price.

Tell us about your business. We will show you where your attention, content, and lead generation system is leaking.
