Choosing a video production
company in Dubai.
What a Dubai video production company should include in a quote, what each format costs, how to compare two proposals that look alike, and what to settle before the shoot day.
What video production costs in Dubai
Our published prices: a reel from AED 1,500 (half-day shoot, one vertical film up to 45 seconds, licensed music, captions, 48-hour delivery), a full real estate listing set from AED 3,500, event highlights from AED 2,500, full event coverage from AED 6,000, a brand film from AED 8,000 (concept, script, direction, crew, grade, a 60 to 90 second film with cut-downs and full usage rights), and a monthly content engine from AED 15,000.
Across the market the same brief can be quoted from a few thousand dirhams to six figures, because "video production" can mean one operator for an afternoon or a two-day shoot with talent, a motion designer and a colourist. The price is driven by crew size, shoot days, whether anyone is on camera, animation, and the number of language versions. We break the formats down in how much video production costs in Dubai.
Production company, videographer or in-house?
A freelance videographer is right for a single day with a simple brief and a fast turnaround. A production company is right when the film has to carry a brand, when several formats come from one shoot, or when the same quality has to repeat every month. An in-house creator is right for daily volume at a lower production value.
Most Dubai brands end up with a mix: a production company for the films that carry the brand and the monthly shoot days, and a phone for the daily stories in between. What matters is that the two look like they belong to the same brand.
How to compare two quotes
Line up the scope, not the total. How many shoot hours and how many crew? Is a director on set, or only an operator? How many deliverables, in which aspect ratios? How many rounds of revisions? Is music licensed for paid use? Who owns the raw footage? Are captions and platform exports included or listed as extras?
Then watch the work. A portfolio should be films you can play with performance the client will confirm. Ours is on the portfolio page, with client-verified views next to the films that have them.
What to settle before the shoot
The screen the film will play on first, the audience, the single message, who is on camera, the deadline, and the approvers. Brand films with one decision-maker take about three weeks; four reviewers turn that into eight to ten. For events, add the camera positions, audio from the sound desk, load-in times and venue permits. For property, add access, light and the agent's availability.
Rights belong in the quote: territory, term and whether paid usage is covered. Our brand films include full usage rights. We list every question in branded content: what you are buying.
What performance to expect
A film earns reach through distribution and cut-downs, not on the day it is published. A 30-second brand film we made for a yacht company passed 552K views, a single real estate reel passed 10.9M, and agent-led villa films for one Dubai brokerage were part of 79.1M account views in 90 days, all from client-verified analytics. None of those numbers was the objective. The enquiries behind them were, which is why we report saves, shares, profile visits and messages rather than views alone.
