Hotel social media and video content in Dubai: what a monthly partnership actually includes

Rooms, outlets, events and seasons, one visual signature, next-day turnaround. What a hotel content partnership in Dubai covers, what it costs, and what to ask an agency.

By Baran Karaesen · OneByOne Creative Agency · 4 min read

A hotel in Dubai is not one brand. It is a lobby, four restaurants, a rooftop, a spa, a ballroom and a pool, each with its own audience and its own calendar, all expected to look like one address. Most social content fails hotels on exactly that point: it is shot outlet by outlet, by whoever was available, and the feed ends up looking like six businesses sharing a logo.

This is what a monthly content partnership should cover, what it costs, and what to ask before you sign.

What the month contains

**Property and outlet coverage in one signature.** A fixed look for light, colour and pacing that every outlet inherits. Rooms and suites, dining, the rooftop at golden hour, the spa, the pool: filmed on a rolling schedule so the library is always current, never a single shoot day that goes stale by the next season.

**Event and activation coverage with a next-day turnaround.** A brunch launch, a chef residency, a national day activation or a ballroom wedding showcase is worth posting the next morning and worth nothing the following week. Highlights are delivered the next day; full coverage when the event carries sponsors or a conference programme.

**Short-form first.** Vertical cuts for Instagram and TikTok are the primary deliverable, not an afterthought from a landscape film. Landscape versions serve the website, OTA listings and the sales deck.

**A calendar tied to the hotel's programming.** Ramadan, summer staycations, the Q4 event season, Christmas and New Year, school holidays for family occupancy. The shoot schedule follows the revenue calendar, not the other way round.

**An asset library the marketing team can reuse.** Every deliverable is filed by outlet, format and season, so the reservations team, the events team and the group office can pull what they need without a new brief.

We run this model for Kempinski The Boulevard in Downtown Dubai and have filmed for JW Marriott Marina and voco Monaco Dubai. The full case is on the Kempinski The Boulevard case study.

What it costs in Dubai

Our published prices. Event highlights from AED 2,500 (up to four hours on site, 80 edited photos, a 60 second reel, delivered the next day). Full event coverage from AED 6,000 (full day, multi-camera, speaker and stage clips). A brand film from AED 8,000 (concept, script, direction, crew, grade, a 60 to 90 second film with cut-downs, full usage rights). A monthly content engine from AED 15,000 (monthly shoot days, 12 to 24 reels a month, strategy, hooks, editing, paid-ads-ready cut-downs, a reporting dashboard).

If the hotel wants the channels run as well as filled, the social media programmes start at AED 12,000 a month for two platforms and AED 22,000 a month with paid distribution on Meta and TikTok and a lead path for group bookings and events. Prices are on the social media marketing in Dubai page.

Ad spend is separate. Quotes far below these levels usually mean graphic posts instead of filmed content, no shoot days, and no next-day event delivery. Compare what is produced each month, not the fee.

What to ask an agency before signing

1. **Who films, and how many shoot days are in the month?** A hotel needs a crew that can be on property on a Tuesday morning and at a brunch on Friday. Ask for the crew by name and the days in the plan. 2. **What is the turnaround on events?** If the answer is not "next day", the event content will age before it is posted. 3. **How do you handle six outlets with one look?** Ask to see a hotel feed they run. The test is whether the rooftop and the spa look like the same address. 4. **What happens in Ramadan and summer?** The plan should change with occupancy, not repeat the same reel through low season. 5. **Who owns the raw footage and the library?** The hotel should. Group marketing teams need to reuse content across properties and campaigns. 6. **What is reported?** Reach is context. The numbers that matter to a general manager are direct bookings, event enquiries and covers, and the content's share of them.

Where video sits next to the rest

Photography still carries the OTA listings and the website. Video carries social, paid and the sales deck. A hotel that runs both from one crew and one calendar gets a library that compounds; a hotel that buys them separately gets two looks and two invoices.

For corporate and MICE business the same crew produces the leadership, conference and testimonial films described on the corporate video production in Dubai page. For recurring outlet formats such as brunch and ladies' night, the weekly cadence is in how Dubai venues film recurring events.

If there is a season or an outlet launch coming up, send the outlets and the dates. A written monthly plan with shoot days, deliverables per outlet and a fixed price comes back within one business day from the social media marketing in Dubai page.
